Jean Driscoll was an eight-time Boston Marathon Champion and one of the top-100 20th Century female athletes as selected by Sports Illustrated for Women. Born with spina bifida, Driscoll won two Olympic Silver medals and 12 Paralympic medals during her career as an elite wheelchair racer.

The 1991 Women’s Sports Foundation’s Sportswoman of the Year and 2002 USA Wheelchair Sports Hall of Fame inductee was a longtime supporter of FCA. She served as a member of the Illinois State FCA Board and spoke at various FCA ministry events including the Women’s Final Four in 2001.
