As the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Chick-fil-A, Inc., James “Buck” McCabe’s life is full of responsibilities, but he never shied away from being a servant-leader. After joining Chick-fil-A as a corporate account manager in 1978, McCabe worked his way to the top watching over accounting, finance, taxation, employee benefits and information technology for one of the largest restaurant chains in the United States.

The former Chairman of FCA’s National Board of Trustees and member of the National Advisory Board, McCabe remains active as a local FCA advocate in the Atlanta area as well as teaching adult Sunday school and serving as a men’s group leader for Bible Study Fellowship International. He graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program before serving as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.

I praise God for people like you! I really appreciate the moral Christian stance that you keep with Chick-fil-A and you need to remember you are doing the Lord’s work everyday! I am a Family Physician in Santa Maria, CA and have supported my friend John Barry Martinez in his work with FCA for many years. I’m from Newport Beach CA and have worked for many years and have traveled the world and seen God working everywhere. God bless you!
