Gary Cuozzo was an All-American quarterback at the University of Virginia and went undrafted before signing as a backup with the Baltimore Colts. It was there that he came to Christ through the influence of fellow FCA Hall of Champions inductee and Colt teammate Raymond Berry. The long-time backup to Hall of Famer Johnny Unitas, Cuozzo blessed the FCA ministry both during and after his 10-year professional sports career in many capacities. A former FCA National Board of Trustee chairman and Advisory Board member, Cuozzo was one of the significant people in helping build the FCA ministry in the Northeast Region. For 40 years he travelled the country ministering to coaches and athletes through FCA Huddles and Camps.
