For more than 50 years, Bunny Martin has used his unique skills as a yo-yo performer, magician and comedian, to impact the lives of countless athletes and coaches. Long considered an ambassador for FCA, Martin has performed at conventions, schools, churches, corporate events, camps, and professional sports chapels.

At the age of 15, Martin defeated 100 other competitors to win the 1950 city yo-yo championship in Houston. This qualified him for what would be the last ever World Yo-Yo Championship held in Toronto the following year where he defeated 500 others from five countries to claim the title.

In addition to his global travels, Martin has performed for NFL and Major League Baseball teams. For 21 years, he consistently ministered for the Dallas Cowboys chapel services. Martin also appeared on network television shows including NBC’s “To Tell The Truth.” The founder and president of Reaching America’s Youth, he also maintained an active prison ministry that allowed him to reach thousands of incarcerated people with the gospel. Martin did all of this while overcoming a severe stuttering problem.

Martin worked on church staffs as a youth and recreation pastor for 15 years in places such as Oklahoma City, Okla., Shreveport, La., and San Antonio, Texas. He also served as the assistant to the President of Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton, Texas.
