FCA’s Hall of Champions was established in 1991 to honor individuals who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to Jesus Christ through the ministry of FCA. They are considered volunteer “All Stars” who have given above and beyond the call of duty and have upheld the Four Core Values of FCA: Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.

A professional baseball coach who has worked in the U.S., Japan and Korea and been involved in FCA in those countries for more than 30 years
Ed Christopherson
The football coach and his wife, Sylvia, have impacted an entire town through FCA for more than 50 years. His passion for teaching, sports, students and Jesus made FCA a natural vehicle for ministry in his life, and the couple regularly invited athletes to their house for the FCA Huddle.
Mac Barnes
He started an FCA chapter at Meridian High School in Mississippi in 1978 and has been involved with the international sports ministry ever since, serving on local and state FCA boards for 30 years.
Don Cockroft
Don Cockroft is a longtime FCA donor and supporter who began the FCA Huddle at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. He has served as a local FCA board member and as a speaker at countless FCA Huddles and events.
George Crace
George Crace is an FCA volunteer/coach who has been involved with the sports ministry for over 20 years. He has served as a Huddle Coach, FCA Camp football clinician and is a certified 3D Coach presenter.
Joel Dearing
Joel Dearing serves as an FCA campus adviser and has been the FCA Huddle sponsor at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, for 27 years. He was also the catalyst for a strong Coaches Huddle in the city of Springfield over the past year.
Mark Mestemacher
Mark Mestemacher serves as an FCA board member in the greater St. Louis area. He is also a board member and the financial chair of FCA Wrestling, a member of the FCA Midwest Region Leadership Board, a member of the “24 Hours with God” FCA Wrestling Camp Fellowship…

Dr. Sam Nader
Dr. Sam Nader serves as the campus faculty representative for FCA at Louisiana State University. He is the longest standing member of the LSU football staff, in his 43rd year with the program.
