Ken Hatfield
Ken Hatfield spent 40 years in the football coaching ranks, using that time to passionately share the message of Jesus Christ with young athletes and peers. Hatfield was an FCA advocate in his home state of Arkansas where he devoted his time and resources as an FCA board member and a volunteer and speaker at many FCA events.
As a defensive back at the University of Arkansas, Hatfield helped lead the Razorbacks to a National Championship in 1964. The Helena, Ark., native began his head coaching career at the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1979 before returning to Arkansas (1984-89) to lead his alma mater, where he won two-straight Southwest Conference titles. Hatfield later moved on to head coaching positions at Clemson (1990-93), where he won an Atlantic Coast Conference Championship in 1991, and Rice (1994-2005).
