As a football player at Gaithersburg High School in Montgomery County, Maryland, in 1969, Nichols’ life was changed at an FCA Camp in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when a coach encouraged him to attend. Since then, Nichols has been a committed FCA financial supporter, engaged board member and volunteer for several decades. Local staff describe Nichols as “faithful,” always “showing up” in every season of the ministry.
