Considered one of the all-time greatest basketball handlers, Tanya Crevier has traveled the globe sharing the Gospel through her unique skills and inspirational message. She has made numerous appearances at various FCA camps, clinics, and conferences, as well as for other organizations such as Upward Basketball.

Crevier first became interested in basketball handling during her prep career at Jefferson High School in South Dakota. After graduating in 1973, she attended South Dakota State where she participated in basketball, volleyball, softball, and track. Crevier was named 1976 South Dakota Female Athlete of the Year, and earned her degree in Physical Education in 1977.

She played in the Women’s Basketball League for three seasons including one with the San Francisco Pioneers and two with the Iowa Cornets where her team was twice the national runner-up. From there, she developed a basketball handling show that has been seen at hundreds of NBA, WNBA and NCAA games, including a halftime performance at the 1982 NBA Finals between Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

In addition to her expansive work with FCA, Crevier has performed for churches, school assemblies, and prison ministry events with the Bill Glass Evangelistic Association. She has made numerous national television appearances and co-starred with Pete Maravich in the film Scoring. Crevier is an inductee into the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.
